The upcoming Czech trade delegation to Taiwan: TAIWAN AND SMART CITY SUMMIT & EXPO

We will join the upcoming Czech trade delegation to Taiwan. Our main goal is to engage in B2B discussions and negotiations with Taiwanese companies. Together with our business partner IBG Česko s.r.o., we will present in Taipei the project focused on innovative process for recycling of traction batteries from heavy industrial applications and electric vehicles.

Tomas Krenc (Executive of CHEMINVEST s.r.o.) will attend networking events and business meetings in Taipei:

• Meeting of the Czech-Taiwanese Business Council for Economic Cooperation
• The opening ceremony of the Czech Hub in Taipei
• The opening ceremony of the Smart City Summit & Expo with the opening of the Czech booth
• Tailor-made programme within the Smart City Expo

Tomas will be one of the speakers at The Taiwan-Czech Joint Business Council Meeting, as well.

Together with IBG Česko s.r.o., we will present the project focused on innovative recycling technology of traction batteries from heavy industrial applications and of lithium-ion batteries from electric vehicles. Together with IBG Česko s.r.o. in the investor role with the innovative idea, we have the know-how. The goal of the project is to develop, at pilot scale, an integrated industrial sector for the recycling of production waste from gigafactories, end-of-life automotive batteries, thereby recovering strategic components – lithium, nickel, manganese and cobalt – with very high levels of yield and purity. Ongoing scope of works of the project: design and engineering. The execution phase of the project (EPC) is expected to come next year.

The upcoming Czech trade delegation accompanies Marketa Pekarova Adamova, the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, during her visit to the Republic of Korea and Taiwan. The delegation “Mission in Taiwan” of up to 100 members will stay in Taiwan from March 25 to March 30.
