Like last year, we were announced as the Second Prize Winner in the category “Companies with up to 250 employees in the Ústí nad Labem Region”.

Three coal-mining regions – Usti Region, Karlovy Vary Region and Moravian-Silesian Region – signed Cooperation Agreement On Hydrogen Technology Development.

On 27 March 2023, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the project of recycling of lithium batteries, fitting into the entire ecosystem of the circular economy, was signed between IBG Česko s.r.o. and SMS InfoComm (Czech) s.r.o. (Wistron Group). The MoU provides a general framework for cooperation and facilitates collaboration between the companies. Specifically, the MoU states that the companies will collaborate to develop a center for recycling of lithium batteries.

When will our ambitions meet reality?
How do Germany and the Czech Republic prepare for a transition towards hydrogen? Which role does green hydrogen play in their national strategies? Which projects are already demonstrating the future of the production and use of so-called green hydrogen?

We will join the upcoming Czech trade delegation to Taiwan. Our main goal is to engage in B2B discussions and negotiations with Taiwanese companies. Together with our business partner IBG Česko s.r.o., we will present in Tapei the project focused on innovative process for recycling of traction batteries from heavy industrial applications and electric vehicles.

We helped to organize hydrogen course for Czech teachers in the programme EHTA to learn more about hydrogen technologies. The goal of the European coordinated integration programme EHTA is to help European educators to learn more about hydrogen technologies, so they can later educate their students about hydrogen.

Ing. Jan Schiller, the Governor of the Ústí nad Labem Region, granted the prizes in Regional Authority Award for social responsibility of organizations in the Ústí nad Labem Region. We´re very proud for being announced as the Second Prize Winner in the category “Companies with more than 50 employees”.

This year’s forum with the motto “Reliable functioning of the chemistry as a basis for the future prosperity of the Usti Region” was held at the ICUK premises in Usti nad Labem.

In the beatiful premises of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Usti nad Labem, we participated in an event focused on hydrogen and its potential for coal regions, which the Usti region clearly is.
